Drive Inn

So I decided to venture out to the drive inn with the boys, my sister and my neighbors Friday night. It was um... interesting to say the least. Kaiden and the neighbors daughter are the same age within a month (4) and they don't have much patience so I never once expected them to sit for an hour and a half LOL. Boston was terrible. Didnt want to sit, climbed all over the car, didnt want to eat.. cried.. cried.. climbed.. cried.. climbed.. cried. Although he was difficult, I would probably do it again in a heart beat. You only live once and even though it doesnt always go as planned and things maybe well... unpleasant at times, take advantage of what you are able to do!
Yup- Thats me, in my pink snuggie

  1. I loved going to the drive-in with my husband when we were dating. We haven't been back since, but I think you have an awesome attitude about doing stuff like that with the kids. "You only live once and even though it doesnt always go as planned and things maybe well... unpleasant at times, take advantage of what you are able to do!" I need to keep telling myself that sometimes.

  2. Thank you! It's hard when things don't go perfect. Right now we are fortunate enough to be able to enjoy these things in life- why would some crying, climbing, dirty looks stop someone from trying again? There could be a day where you are physically unable to enjoy such things and then personally I'd be kicking myself for not taking advantage of all I could when I had a chance. Plus- the kids grow up too quick when they are gone, I know I will feel lonely (although quite at peace lol) and they will be doing their own things in life. I also want them to carry the things we do with them forever so they have stories and will take advantage of what life has to offer as well!
